Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Administer injections and medications under physician supervision
- Perform vital sign checks and document patient histories accurately
- Manage electronic health records and maintain organized documentation
- Assist with lab specimens and basic laboratory testing
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent with medical assisting training
