Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation per regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Recent nursing graduate or RN with less than 1 year of experience
- Active Louisiana RN license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to flexible scheduling including nights/weekends
