Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes
- Administer medications under proper supervision
- Support meal assistance and nutritional needs
- Engage residents in meaningful social activities
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff for coordinated care
Qualifications
- Active Maryland CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to senior care
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Basic computer skills for documentation
