Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing protocols and standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe, sterile environment and adhere to infection control procedures
- Participate in shift handovers and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact license)
- Recent nursing graduate or new RN with less than 1 year experience
- Graduation from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (CPR training provided if needed)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
