Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to clinical staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Document care activities accurately and maintain patient records
- Support emotional well-being through companionship and recreational activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Texas or Florida
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
