Southwest Healthcare Network is seeking compassionate RNs with at least 2 years of acute care experience to join our dynamic weekend team. You'll work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p) in our state-of-the-art facility, providing exceptional care while maintaining work-life balance. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans in EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care
- Maintain patient safety standards and infection control protocols
- Participate in weekend shift huddles and care conferences
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active NM RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with 3+ years experience)
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license for on-call rotations
