Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in assigned clinical units with critical thinking skills
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control standards during procedures
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using ACLS/PALS protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact license with NC endorsement)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years acute care experience considered
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; PALS/NIHS preferred for ICU roles
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in assigned specialty (e.g., MedSurg, ICU)
- EMR proficiency (Epic, Cerner, or similar systems)
- Strong assessment skills with ability to recognize subtle patient changes
- Valid driver's license for potential travel assignments in Georgia
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
