Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Provide clinical guidance to patients via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Document accurate medical histories and maintain electronic health records
- Handle emergency situations calmly and follow established protocols
- Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care measures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Proven expertise in triage protocols and emergency assessment
- Exceptional communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Epic or similar EHR systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
