Responsibilities
- Conduct Patient Assessments: Evaluate patient symptoms via phone or video consultation to determine the appropriate level of care.
- Provide Triage Guidance: Offer expert medical advice and recommend appropriate next steps, including home care, self-care, or immediate emergency services.
- Coordinate Care Plans: Facilitate communication between patients, primary care physicians, and specialists.
- Document Interactions: Accurately record patient data, symptoms, and advice into Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems in real-time.
- Monitor Patient Outcomes: Follow up on patients to ensure resolution and satisfaction with the provided care.
- Stay Current: Maintain knowledge of clinical guidelines and company protocols.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (FL).
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience, with specific preference for triage or call center experience.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient empathy and clarity.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth software.
- Problem Solving: Ability to make quick, evidence-based clinical decisions under pressure.
