Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone triage assessments using standardized protocols and clinical judgment
- Provide accurate medical guidance and care instructions to patients across diverse demographic groups
- Document all interactions meticulously in Epic EHR systems ensuring regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care pathways
- Manage high-volume call queues efficiently while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Educate patients on preventive care and resource utilization
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license with unrestricted practice privileges
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience with emphasis in emergency, urgent care, or telehealth
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic medical records
- Strong communication skills with ability to de-escalate sensitive situations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
