Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems following HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care pathways
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients regarding treatment options
- Maintain crisis intervention protocols for emergency situations
- Monitor and track patient follow-up appointments and referrals
Qualifications
- Current Alaska RN license with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS certification and ACLS preferred
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with telephone triage systems and EMR documentation
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills
