Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize patient acuity levels
- Document clinical findings accurately in electronic health records
- Coordinate patient flow across emergency services
- Provide telehealth triage support for remote consultations
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
- Train new staff on triage procedures and best practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (IL RN)
- Minimum 3 years emergency nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR systems
- Strong decision-making under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English/Spanish
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
