Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as per care plansPrepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Companionship through engaging conversation and recreational activities
- Maintain detailed care notes and communicate with family members
- Follow established safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical care tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for vulnerable populations
- Reliable transportation with proof of insurance
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
