Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, weight) and medical history reviews.
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures in a fast-paced clinic environment.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment to ensure infection control standards.
- Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform basic phlebotomy as required.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage prescription refills.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, answering inquiries and addressing concerns.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong computer proficiency with experience in Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
