Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor client health status and report changes to medical professionals
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate health records
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote emotional well-being
- Coordinate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Patience, empathy, and genuine compassion for vulnerable populations
