Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and label medications using provided automated systems
- Manage inventory and track expiration dates for pharmaceutical supplies
- Assist in sterile compounding operations with provided equipment
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records digitally
- Counsel patients on medication usage and adherence protocols
- Collaborate with pharmacists on prescription verification workflows
- Maintain compliance with DEA and FDA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification in Nebraska
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with automated dispensing technology
- Strong attention to detail and math skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of sterile compounding procedures
- Pass background check and drug screening
