Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs while maintaining safe food handling practices
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and state regulations
- Transport clients to medical appointments and community activities using company vehicles
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations for care team coordination
- Engage clients in meaningful activities promoting mental stimulation and social connection
- Maintain clean, safe home environments including light housekeeping tasks
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Reliable transportation to Austin-based client locations
- Authorized to work in the United States
