Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure client hygiene and dignity.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking to prevent falls and ensure safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Manage medication reminders and document administration accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and tidying living spaces.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client's health, mood, or behavior to the nursing supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or Home Health Aide certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required for transportation duties.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen.
- Previous experience in senior care or healthcare is a plus.
