Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs following care plan protocols
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities using company vehicles
- Light housekeeping duties including laundry, tidying, and meal planning
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation, recreational activities, and cognitive stimulation
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate effectively with family members and care coordinators
- Follow strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or equivalent certification
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal skills with patience and cultural sensitivity
- Reliable transportation to various St. Louis locations
- Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays as needed
