Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Support nursing staff with clinical procedures and medication administration
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Active Michigan CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
