Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Document care activities accurately and maintain resident records
- Support nutritional needs by assisting with meals and feeding as needed
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic care plans
Qualifications
- Active Washington State CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or acute care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach with commitment to dignity and respect
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
