Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and medication administration
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop/update care plans
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in electronic health records
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in a healthcare setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts (including weekends/holidays)
