Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and food intake
- Administer medications as per physician orders and facility protocols
- Assist with rehabilitative exercises and therapeutic programs
- Maintain accurate resident records and documentation
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
- Collaborate with nursing staff to create personalized care plans
Qualifications
- Active Colorado CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach with elderly residents
- Clear criminal background check and TB screening
- Valid Colorado driver's license (for transport duties)
