Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care provided
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Support patient mobility and transfer using proper techniques
- Administer medications under supervision and maintain accurate records
- Ensure patient comfort and emotional support during care
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
