Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients in high-acuity emergency settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EHR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care coordination
- Educate patients and families on discharge planning and follow-up care
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Current Missouri RN license required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 3+ years ED experience considered)
- ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications mandatory
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- Strong critical thinking and triage skills
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments
