Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer medications under RN supervision and document accurately
- Support residents with meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and assist with linen changes
- Participate in care planning and team meetings to optimize resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or assisted living experience
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly care
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
