Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and health changes
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary care teams to implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Support emotional well-being through active listening and patient advocacy
- Participate in shift handovers and team meetings to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Washington State CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in a clinical setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate approach with patient-centered mindset
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Clear background check and negative TB test results
