Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Support rehabilitation activities under therapist guidance
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in EMR documentation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
