Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with patients' daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe patient environment
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision per facility protocols
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in a healthcare setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from a recognized provider
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
