Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, observations, and resident preferences
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety
- Support nutritional needs by serving meals and documenting intake
- Administer medications and treatments under RN supervision
- Document care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or geriatric care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Compassionate approach with commitment to dignity in care
- Reliable transportation with clean driving record (if applicable)
