Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Administer medications as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Document patient care plans and updates accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA License (State Tested Nurse Aide).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Previous experience in a long-term care or acute care setting is preferred but not required.
