Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring and walking, ensuring safety at all times.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and charge nurse immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current KY State CNA Certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but willing to train motivated candidates.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
