Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer medications under RN supervision as per facility protocols
- Maintain accurate resident records and care documentation
- Support emotional well-being through meaningful resident interactions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach with attention to resident dignity
- Reliable transportation and flexible scheduling availability
