Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, temperatures, and blood pressure regularly.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families.
- Document patient care plans, updates, and any changes in condition accurately in medical records.
- Administer medications as prescribed and supervised by the nursing staff.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of Ohio.
- Current state-approved CNA certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with lifting patients.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
