Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and ensure comfort.
  • Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to report changes in patient condition and update care plans.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
  • Administer medications as directed by licensed nursing staff.
  • Provide emotional support and communicate effectively with patients and their families.

Qualifications

  • Current and active Wisconsin CNA License required.
  • Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or acute care setting preferred.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as necessary.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care.
