Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status by observing, symptom, warning, and reporting changes.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Record vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Provide basic patient care techniques, such as changing bed linens and assisting with feeding.
- Transport patients to treatment areas using wheelchairs, stretchers, or strollers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and families regarding patient needs.
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented demeanor.
