Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, and reactions accurately in medical records.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and families regarding patient conditions and needs.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfer to ensure safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Arizona.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and assist patients of varying sizes.
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation.
