Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist nurses with wound care, medication administration, and treatment procedures.
- Document patient status, changes in condition, and care provided accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license issued by the State of Missouri.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
