Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates accurately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans, changes in condition, and daily activities in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and physicians regarding patient needs and updates.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patient care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA Certification (NAR).
- CPR/BLS certification required (or willing to obtain).
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation and professional work history.
