Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate daily care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Facilitate patient communication and coordinate care with family members
- Adhere to HIPAA protocols and maintain strict confidentiality standards
- Participate in shift reports and safety compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina CNA certification with current license
- Minimum 1-year acute care hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (we provide renewal)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse populations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
- Clear criminal background check and negative drug screen
