Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care delivery
- Support clinical teams with patient positioning, transfers, and medical equipment use
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Deliver patient education on self-care techniques and discharge planning
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop individualized care plans
- Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions and observations
Qualifications
- Active Nevada CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience required
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Clear criminal background check and negative drug screen
