Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake assessments and health history reviews via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms
- Assist providers with electronic health record (EHR) documentation and clinical data management
- Coordinate patient care logistics, including prescription refills and lab result follow-ups
- Facilitate secure patient communication through our proprietary patient portal system
- Prepare and organize digital medical documentation for provider review
- Monitor patient compliance with treatment plans through remote check-ins
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) from accredited program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory or telehealth setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or NextGen preferred)
- Strong telemedicine platform experience (Doxy.me, Teladoc, or Amwell)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to build rapport virtually
- New York State medical assistant license (if applicable)
- BLS/CPR certification
- High-speed internet and dedicated home office workspace
