Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using digital dental software
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and patient communications
- Assist with restorative procedures and emergency treatments
- Order inventory and ensure operatory supplies are stocked
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification from accredited program
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography (X-ray certification required)
- Knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
- Experience with Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification preferred
