Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records and chairside digital charting systems
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain clinical hygiene standards
- Deliver compassionate patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Coordinate seamless clinical workflows and assist with inventory management
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification from CODA-accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Texas dental radiography permit (if required)
