Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Provide chairside assistance during complex procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Schedule appointments and manage front desk duties
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- CPR certification and current BLS certification
