Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials efficiently
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Implement strict infection control protocols (OSHA/CDC)
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain organized supply areas
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (CODA or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Arizona Radiology certification required
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and infection control discipline
