Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization processes
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for optimal efficiency
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Coordinate administrative tasks including appointment scheduling and digital record management
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in CPR and basic life support
- Proficiency with digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona) practice management software
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Nevada dental radiography license (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
