Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including four-handed dentistry and instrument transfer
- Perform digital X-rays and intraoral photography with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain HIPAA-compliant records
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and materials for efficient workflows
- Deliver exceptional patient education and comfort measures
- Coordinate inventory management and supply ordering
- Support front desk duties when needed including scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification or graduate of CODA-accredited program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Valid Indiana radiography license
