Responsibilities
- Assist Dentists: Provide chair-side assistance during examinations and treatments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, update medical histories, and educate them on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Radiography: Take and develop dental X-rays (Panoramic, Periapical) ensuring high-quality images.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to sterilization protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
- Operatory Management: Prepare dental instruments, maintain operatory cleanliness, and restock supplies.
- Administrative Support: Process insurance claims, schedule appointments, and manage patient records accurately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current RDH or RDA license in the state of Nevada.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical dental assisting experience preferred.
- CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skills: Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and digital X-ray systems.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude.
- Flexibility: Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing schedules.
