Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vitals assessment accurately and efficiently.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist with basic laboratory tasks, including phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage incoming calls professionally.
- Provide patient education and instructions regarding medications and treatments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
